Like most writers, I have always loved reading and learning. My favorite genre is mystery. I started early with Encyclopedia Brown and have been trying to figure out “whodunnit” ever since.
It made sense that I would enjoy writing mysteries. What surprised me is that I would find horror writing so delicious. Luring my reader into my web with promises of doom and death has brought me more happiness than any sane person should admit to.
Reading and writing sci-fi is also wonderful fun. Sci-fi writers basically say to you, “Hey, you know the physical and moral laws of the universe? Well, they don’t apply here. Good luck!”
Writing is typically a solitary endeavor. I have found amazing people in the writing communities I have joined. Writers are the most giving, nurturing people, who will gladly share their unique experiences with anyone willing to ask. I’m proud to be a part of the groups listed below.
